2010 draw result

Shammies Vs Rangitaiki  31st July.

A sunny but cold start to the Shamrock/ Rangitaiki game but both teams were on  fire.
There was a good turn out by the Shamrocks, Brooklyn and Ezra were away and Seth wasnt feeling well but managed to make the game anyway.

What a start..from the beginning of the game the Shamrocks were determined to win today. Their defence was outstanding and for once, Olivia, Goalie queen, was complaining she hadnt touched the ball during the first half.
The defence of Cameron, who played beautifully, sweeping across the pitch, meant that any ball venturing towards Olivia, was eyed up and kicked away. Andrew and Rhiana were also on top of any Rangitaiki player who dared venture towards the goal.
Cole was on fire and assisting with defence and setting up some fantastic passes to Max. Max was jumping out of his skin today and for a player with 7 stitches in his leg scored 2 goals. Max and Hunter have really been complimenting each other with their attacking and striking skills and it wasnt long before Hunter scored as well!!
The Shamrocks were so excited and at half time vowed to each other that this was their game and they werent going to let Rangitaiki score. True to their word, The Shammies knuckled down and continued with their defence...Hunter scored again and the team were estactic..4 nil to the Shamrocks....
This certainly was a team that ROCKED!!!  Shamrocks you all worked wonderfully together and there was certainly no ""i"" in team work today!!!
Seth won player of the day..he was so committed even though he was feeling poorly.
Thanks to the Rangitaiki team too...they were really good sports.

Shamrocks Vs K town chiefs

Olivia & Ezra  in Goal, Andrew & Cameron  were last line of defence.
Brooklyn was right side Rhianna was left and Hunter was mid
striker Seth and Cole were subbed. SadlyMax was not available
Coach: Nigel  (Sparkle and shine LTD.)

YAY!! HOORAY everybody screamed, it was
our first goal of the day thanks to Hunter!!

Sadly that was the last goal but the main thing is all
the team participated had funand even tried our very best!!!!

The game was a close exciting match, K Town chiefs  won
3 to 2. The referee was fair and honest, he
taught us things we were unsure of.
OVERALL WE HAD AN EXCITING THRILLING GAME!!!
GOOO SHAMROCKS!!!!!
