What
a fantastic game to watch and a well deserved 6-3 win to the Ohope
Assault. The fruits of practice and great coaching are paying
dividends. Highlights included the Assault defenders shutting
down a
determined attack then clearing the ball to Jonathon who went on a
blistering run from half way, side-stepping two players before bending
it like Beckham between the posts.
Coach Mark commended the team
at half time for playing their best football in the season thus far.
Player of the day was awarded
to Sophie for "Awesome defensive play and shutting them down. ".
Well done Assault. Keep it up
